Domino doesn't (to my knowledge) provide any "wildcard" matches on user names when routing mail. If a user cannot be uniquely identified with a lookup in the Domino Directory ($Users) view, it is bounced with an appropriate "Unknown user" error.

But you could easily set up mail-in database documents in your Domino Directory, and let those point to a common mail database. You may even create these mail-in database documents programatically.
